Guideline for Device Vendor
UFS card should be formatted using the exFAT formatter from Microsoft.
Guideline for UFS Card End User
Since most host systems provide a built-in formatter for file systems supported by the host system, the end-user may use the built-in formatter when the UFS Card is initially inserted and used.
Guideline for Host vendor (e.g. Smartphone, Drone, VR, AR, DSLR, …)
exFAT natively supports large file sizes over 4GB
exFAT natively supports interoperability with Windows PC’s and Macs, gaming consoles and many Android smartphones.
Open source or several third party implementations are available for exFAT.
