There are three membership levels in UFSA:
- Board of Directors
- Contributor
- Adopter

Board of Directors
The governing body of UFSA is the Board of Directors (BoD) which is comprised of individual directors (or their alternates) appointed by the UFSA Board Member companies. The BoD makes all decisions concerning the governance and direction of UFSA. Membership dues are $40,000/year.
Contributor
Contributor members are companies that are interested in actively supporting and promoting the development, manufacture and use of standard Universal Flash Storage devices. Contributor member companies are entitled to vote on all matters of the Contributor committee meetings in addition to all rights of Adopter members. Membership dues are $10,000/year.
Adopter
Adopter members are companies that are interested in actively supporting and promoting the development, manufacture and use of standard Universal Flash Storage devices. Adopter member companies have the right to participate in UFSA qualification and verification activities, and use the UFSA logo (with a signed license agreement) for qualified products and other such rights as specified by the Board of Directors. Membership dues are $3,500/year.
